Would you like to be a pirate every weekend?
There are pirate clubs and groups all over the nation. They have meetings, dress up like pirates, go to clubs, drink grog until they can’t stand up straight and have a jolly rogers good time.
Most people who join these clubs are true pirate lovers, not just Johnny Depp fans. They love Jack Sparrow and the wenches and scalawags dress for the occasion.
One such group is in Southern California. But beware mates, these pirates and their wenches are known for being very serious about their alter-lives.
They sing bawdy songs and tell pirates tales all while dressed up like pirates.
Pirate reenactments, pirate music groups, yacht clubs and festivals all about pirates are on the rise. It looks like Talk Like a Pirate Day might only be a small part of an all out Pirate Scene!
